Instructor: Duke Cassle, LMT
Duke has been a professional massage therapist since 1991 and has had his own successful private clinical practice in Salt Lake City, Utah for over 24 years. He completed both the basic and advanced courses at Myotherapy College of Utah and has been a primary instructor there since 1992. He also has taught at several other massage schools and provided continuing education courses and seminars through the AMTA and NCBTMB.
He has over 1500 hours of massage therapy training in over 30 styles of massage. He has served on the National Certification Board and is a member of AMTA. He is the co-author for “The Review for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Certification” (LWW) and has been the “Massage Therapist” for several professional and amateur sports teams.
Summary of what the video training will include:
Spinal Touch is a gentle, light touch therapy that relaxes postural muscles to promote corrections in distortion by focusing on the body’s natural center of gravity at the base of the spine. This class involves the study of the Stress/Strain syndromes and body mechanics of the body, plumbline evaluation, contact point determination, aspects of "Aim, Tilt & Drift, full body protocol/pattern for the modality, "Rub out" techniques and validation of treatment testing and correction.
