Becoming a Certified Massage Therapist
MassageTutor.com is a copyrighted product and service of Myotherapy College of Utah. The massage school is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), providing the students an excellent and qualified clinical approach in many different massage school courses. Classes are smaller and personalized that gives students an individualized attention and training.
The program is led by professional and licensed massage therapists with over 26 years of experience.
Getting the License
Upon graduation from the massage therapy school, you will be qualified to sit for the National Certification Exam (NCE) given by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) or the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEX) provided by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) to obtain licensure.
Requirements for licensing in Utah:
- Graduation from an approved school
- Passing the NCE or MBLEX licensing exam
- Passing the Utah law exam
